Hinges wear out, discolor or even break over time. New hinges can update any set of cabinet door no matter how old they are, and it is often recommended replacing old hardware to help sell your home. We often get customers that are overwhelmed with the selection of hinges available. The first thing to know is what kind of cabinet door, the different overlay, and the hinge option. Here are three samples of kitchen cabinet doors that demonstrate the different overlays. The first is a framed cabinet with an overlay on the cabinet frame. The second is a framed cabinet where the doors are inset, flush with the cabinet frame. And the third is a frameless cabinet where hidden hinges are utilized.
We recently upgraded our cabinet hardware and hinge selection, this will save our customers time and money. Come on in and check out the new Richelieu hardware display, it is awesome! We look forward to seeing you in the store real soon and don’t forget to bring in a hinge, to help identify the type for your cabinet doors.
Bye, bye,
