Kelly studied the fundamentals of design at Wichita State University, majoring in visual art and interior design. While there, she apprenticed in apparel buying, fashion coordinating, interior decorating and textile manufacturing. Her post university years since 1987 have been spent honoring her skills in marketing, advertising and displays, through various positions in retail sales, design and management.
Her career has an Interior Designer began in 1994 with the interior design firm Bohnenkamp Interiors based in Milwaukee, Oregon. In May of 2000 the opportunity arose to open her own unique design boutique, “Marie Josephine” A Mercantile Company. This attractive store offered charming and elegant home furnishings, gifts, clothing and interior design solutions. Kelly decided to relocate with her family to Pullman in 2014.
Kelly is happy to be working at Pullman Building Supply, as she provides original solution to designs for the home, whether they be trendy or traditional.
